Wero is a recent payment solution, launched in 2024 by the European Payments Initiative (EPI), which aims to become the standard for everyday digital payments in Europe .it is intended to replace Giropay in Germany, Paylib in France, Payconiq in Belgium and Luxembourg, and iDEAL in the Netherlands.
